Frequently asked questions

The objectionswe hear the most.

Is it free during the beta?

Yes, entirely, and no credit card required. Nook will eventually have a paid plan — probably around activity tracking — but beta testers will be told well in advance, and nothing switches on automatically when the beta ends.

Do I have to give up Google Calendar?

No — it's the opposite: Nook writes into your Google Calendar. The blocks you create here show up in the Google Calendar app on your phone, in the invites you receive, everywhere you already check your schedule. Nook isn't one more calendar to keep an eye on.

What if I don't want to connect Google?

The to-do list, Pomodoro and activity tracking all work without a Google connection. You only lose calendar syncing — the rest of Nook works exactly the same.

Is my data private?

Your tasks, sessions and activity are tied to your account only, and are never sold or shared with third parties. Nook asks Google or Apple for the minimum access needed to read and write your events — nothing else. If you leave your email below, it's only used to send you updates about Nook.
